Memories In Moving- Final Project

I will never forget the time when I was 8 years old and my dad told me that I better enjoy my childhood because I was going to grow up faster than I knew it. Well for an 8 year old, that felt like it was never going to happen but the older I get the saying "time fly's by" takes on a whole new meaning to me. I am not a person that handles change very well. Especially if it is something I have had or stayed at for a very long time. For my final I wanted to go back through all of the places that I have lived and just remember or relive what happened in my life at these homes.
(I didn't get to take a picture of everywhere I lived because for at least a year and a half I lived in the Philippines and I wasn't going to fly over there just to take a picture)

This is my first home that I can remember being in till I was six years old. The tree that is on the right side of the picture still has two broken branches that me and my brother broke off because we were trying to make our own tire swing.

From 6 to 18 I lived out in this beautiful country. They tore the house and a couple of barns down a few months after we left. Every time I would drive by they would have don't trespass signs up everywhere. The day I decided to take pictures I counted myself really lucky because the owners were there and gave me permission to walk around and do what I wanted.

They had torn down a lot of things and I was hoping there would be something or anything that would really hit home for me.  I was extremely blessed because there was a lot more than I thought there would be and by the time I left I was pretty touched. This tree used to be my brothers club house. It still has his initials on the board.
I'm pretty sure they had to keep this structure because where the brick is leads to the water pump but on the other side of it used to be mine and my cousins old club house! I was so surprised to see it still standing.

I remembered that we had written on the walls when we were kids and I so hoping that something would be still be there and it was.
I was lucky to find a few messages left even on the side of the wood.
My whole life has been spent around horses and this is the very first place where everything from breaking them in to getting bucked off had started. My favorite memory though is we had a really smart horse that we could climb on top of his back without any halter or lead ropes and my sister got on one time and he decided he had enough of her and he walked to the back of that shed where it dips down and get lower and he knocked her off onto her butt.
When I turned 18 I moved from glorious open space and fresh air to crowded city life.
When I turned 22 I went on my mission to the Philippines and when I came home I lived with my parents for a couple of months and it was the best thing that had happened to me for a long time just because I had the chance to be out of the city and be at a farm again. I even welcomed the hard work that comes with it.
I had to add this pic because this tractor has been in my family for a very long time and we have some history together. First time I drove it was when I was 14 and my dad just sat me up on top and said go and harrowed. Well I ended up taking out one of our fences.
This is the home that I am living at now. I am stuck back in an apartment, in the city but I am staying with my grandma. I have been grateful for what time I have spent with her because I don't think she will be with us much longer.

I had a lot of fun with the low key and it seemed easier for me. The high and it's lighting were a little tricky for me, plus finding something that was white.

I really liked this assignment just because I wasn't pressured into making things look perfect.
It was fun to just mess around and learn about each of the different things in LightRoom and to
learn new things about my camera or how to even use a camera. I have a really hard time with
taking pictures outside and loved taking pictures of animals.
